Adults Adult Discipleship Through out the week in the mornings and evenings there are Bible Studies and Classes for adults at St. Peter's. For a complete listing of our core curriculum classes for aduts and the many other classes and Bible studies currently offered, click here. Bethany Families These groups are once a month gatherings of fellow church members in homes around the community for fellowship and building relationships. Women's Ministry Women's Bible Study on Galatians, Freedom in Christ facilitated by Brooke Holt Starting September 20th, every Thursday, 6:30 - 8 pm in the GATE.
2008 Women's Retreat, Details TBA Men's Ministry Men's Group meets the 2nd Friday of the month at Panera Bread on Lake Mary Blvd at 6:30 am. The group is currently studing the book The Tender Warrior. Promise Keepers Event, Saturday, November 10th. We will be going to Waterford Lakes Theaters to see a live Simulcast of Promise Keepers. Head Coach of the Indianapolis Colts and professed Christian Tony Dungy will be the speaker for the day. It will kick off our mission project in Sanford at the Central Florida Dream Center. Tickets will be $15. All money goes to cover the event and to pay for the materials for the mission project. The Theater seats 470 and we will be filling it up, so reserve your tickets now. We are a collection of individuals with a desperate heart to know Christ intimately and see His kingdom spread effectively. We are radically committed to doing whatever it takes to see this northside culture come into an encounter with the Kingdom of Christ. In four years, we want to be The Name in this culture that students think when they think Christ. In four years, we want to be the refuge that this culture is relationally intertwined with and spending time at. In four years, we want to see over 1,000 mature and equipped worshipers of Christ sent out into the world to spread the Kingdom of God. :: the 722 myspace page:: We believe that this student generation is one of mass media and technology, in light of that we have a desire to see 722 have a transformational effect on the online community for the Kingdom of Christ. We desire to have an incarnational impact on the myspace online community. Because myspace is a public webpage we are intereacting with both Christians and Non-Christians. Children love action and crave activity. Learning requires doing, not just sitting. Kids’ Church integrates worship, learning, and action. Their own service incorporates live music, scriptural teachings, prayer and hands-on activities that relate to students’ lives yet challenge them to think eternally. Christ’s teachings become real to children as they profess their faith, engage in praise of our Lord, and develop relationships with other Christians. Families are reunited in the sanctuary for communion and to conclude the worship service together. |
